The Sexperts Peer Educator is responsible for presenting the Sexperts
and D8ME: Tips for Healthy Relationships workshops for students. Sexperts is a
peer educated sexual health workshop that covers safer sex, STD/HIV prevention,
contraception, and resources. Sexperts peer educators also facilitate the D8ME
workshop that examines healthy relationships, red flags for unhealthy or
abusive relationships, and shares campus and community resources.
The responsibilities of the position include:
- Present the Sexperts
and D8ME workshops to small to large groups of students primarily in classrooms
and residence halls. - Respond to
questions about sexual health and healthy relationships. - Refer students to
campus resources.

Required Education: Must be currently enrolled Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
- Must attach Spring, Summer and/or Fall 2018 oZONE class schedule.

- Presentation skills and the ability
to communicate effectively with others. - Timely and dependable.
- Available
to work daytime, evenings and weekends.

The Stardust Center for Affordable Homes and the Family is offering a limited number of scholarships to support Master of Sustainability Solutions (MSUS) students who have proposed culminating experience projects designed to address and advance the need for affordable housing, recognizing that healthy sustainable communities provide a means for families to obtain, remain in and manage their homes.
Culminating experience projects may use the tools of research, community engagement, education, and public forums to raise awareness and build capacity to address the needs for quality affordable homes.

Shift Specifics: 9 hours per week; flexible with class schedule. Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period. Georgia Southern University is a tobacco and smoke-free campus. All faculty, staff, and students must adhere to the established University System of Georgia policy. |
