The Sexual Assault Prevention Peer Educator is responsible for
presenting the Step in, Speak out workshop for incoming freshmen. Step in,
Speak out is a peer educated sexual assault prevention workshop that covers
bystander intervention, rape myths, resources, and definitions.This position starts August 2018.
The responsibilities of the position include:
- Present the
Step in, Speak out workshop to small and large groups of students. - Respond to
questions about sexual assault and bystander intervention. - Refer
students to campus resources.

Required Education:
Must be currently enrolled in the Spring and/or Fall 2018 Term as a student at the
University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current
student status.
- Must attach Spring, Summer and/of Fall 2018 oZONE class schedule.
Skills:
- Presentation skills and the
ability to communicate effectively with others. - Timely and dependable
- Available
to work evenings and weekends. - Available
10-15 per week August – October 2018. - Must
have completed SISO training.
Department Preferences:
