| Summary | Under the direction of the School of the Arts work in the Scene Shop, Costume Shop, and Box Office as assigned. Update inventories in the shops, set up and strike after events, sell tickets and house manage at multiple venues. |
| Required Qualifications | Must be a current UVU student. Must be available to work evenings and weekends |
| Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | -Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction of scenic and costume elements helpful, but not required. – Knowledge of basic shop safety rules and procedures. -Ability to quickly move and coordinate fingers, limbs, and body to grasp, manipulate or assemble objects. – The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects. – Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software programs. – Customer Service skill. |

| Physical Requirements | May be required to work from ladders or scaffolding. Must be able to lift 25 – 40 lbs. Must be able to temporarily tolerate paint and solvent fumes. |

Stardust Culminating Experience Scholarship
The Stardust Center for Affordable Homes and the Family is offering a limited number of scholarships to support Master of Sustainability Solutions (MSUS) students who have proposed culminating experience projects designed to address and advance the need for affordable housing, recognizing that healthy sustainable communities provide a means for families to obtain, remain in and manage their homes.
Culminating experience projects may use the tools of research, community engagement, education, and public forums to raise awareness and build capacity to address the needs for quality affordable homes.

Shift Specifics: 9 hours per week; flexible with class schedule. Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period. Georgia Southern University is a tobacco and smoke-free campus. All faculty, staff, and students must adhere to the established University System of Georgia policy. |
