VMS is looking for a
creative, highly motivated intern to assist in social media, graphic design,
and photography. Duties include maintaining VMS’s presence on various social
media platforms and to help create content that is relevant to our customer
base. Assist in maintaining VMS’s archive of digital images, videos, and other
content.

Required Education: Must be currently enrolled as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
- Must attach Spring oZONE class schedule.
Skills:
- Updates Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram account
- Posts updates, news, and announcements in a timely manner using appropriate content
- Performs research to find articles, stories, resources, or other
content that is relevant to our customer base to promote conversation and
interaction. - Updates all social media accounts with current photos, video, or
other content from VMS activities and events. - Grows VMS online social networks by increasing fan-base and
interactions. - Completes all social media projects as assigned.
- Have good organizational and management skills
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, basic photo-editing and video-editing software, and internet browsers.
- Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Advertised Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, sit, stand, walk up/down stairs, sit in chair at computer screen, possibly be in elements for some social media projects, etc.
Department Preferences:
- Current student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing,
Public Relations, Advertising or related field. - Creative self-starter who is comfortable with both taking
initiative and working in collaboration. - A natural and creative knack for social media.
