Are you fascinated by voice-assisted technology? Do you use Amazon Alexa, Siri, Google Home,
or just tinker with automating parts of your life in general? Are you passionate about finding ways to make
life easier, better, and more convenient for other people? If so, we need to hear from you.
OU Information Technology, in partnership with key stakeholders on
and off campus, is forming a small team of student innovators to design and
implement unique technology solutions to improve the student experience on
campus.
The Student Experience Innovation Intern will work with a project
team from OU Information Technology to design, build, and implement voice-assisted
technology solutions in a new campus housing concept. The goal of this team will be to take
existing, off-the-shelf Internet of Things (IoT) hardware and build a smarter
living experience for students with disabilities. Previous experience using voice-assisted
technology solutions, IoT hardware, programming / coding, and group project
work are a plus.
This position will give you opportunities to learn and develop
technical and career skills in one or more of the following areas:
- Hardware evaluation and
integration - Development and programming
- Business analysis
- User experience design
- Interface design and
development - Metrics and analytics
- Product management
- Systems analysis and
engineering - Quality assurance
OU IT Interns benefit from a structured program focused on
targeted learning objectives, clearly defined business deliverables, and
personalized development of valuable career skills prior to graduation. Some students earn course credit based on
final internship results.
Schedule is flexible. Most
OU IT interns work between 15 and 25 hours per week.

Required Education: Must be enrolled as a
student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon
verification of current student status.

The Classroom Assistant will support the classrooms serving children from ages 0-3 years and creating and maintaining a safe and stimulating environment for young children. This position is responsible for daily care of the children enrolled in his/her class. Minimum Education and Experience |
AA degree, preferably in the field of Early Childhood Education of Child Development from an accredited public or private institution of higher education. Child Development Associate (CDA) credential for Preschool Caregivers required or an equivalent credential that addresses comparable competencies; or must obtain the credential within one year of employment as a Classroom Assistant II. |

Must have (or be willing to obtain) training and experience necessary to develop consistent, stable, and supportive relationships with very young children. Ability to work as part of a multi-program/disciplinary team in providing a variety of services to children and families. Experience working with children from low income families. Valid First Aid/CPR card, food handler’s card, negative TB test, and clear criminal background check required. |
