Summary of Duties | The Sexual Misconduct Investigator, reporting to the Associate Director of Student Conduct, investigates and adjudicates cases of alleged student misconduct and specifically Title IX complaints, which include but are not limited to sexual assault, sexual harassment, sexual misconduct, relationship violence, and stalking; ensures prompt, impartial, well-documented, and trauma-informed investigation processes; works with the appropriate university offices in the course of investigations, maintains detailed and unbiased investigatory files and reports, and provides ongoing updates to Student Conduct and Title IX; partners with other university offices and community resources, such as the Office of Student Life, the Office of University Compliance and Integrity, the Office of Human Resources, the Student Advocacy Center, University Housing, the Department of Public Safety, and the Office of Legal Affairs throughout the investigative process to facilitate timely response, investigation, and resolution of complaints; understands and follows established university policies and procedures, as well as all state and federal guidance related to Title IX obligations and response; may assist with adjudicating any reported allegation of student misconduct as necessary; maintains privacy and ensures compliance with FERPA and other state, federal, and institutional student record policies. |

Required Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; minimum of two years of experience in sexual misconduct (sexual harassment, sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking) investigations, student conduct administration, or other comparable experience; working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet; demonstrated success in working with diverse constituencies; excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. |
Desired Qualifications | Title IX-related training or certification through a nationally recognized organization; two years of professional experience in higher education and/or a campus setting; training related to trauma-informed investigation practices; demonstrated ability to handle a significant caseload, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain detailed records; demonstrated ability to work successfully both independently and collaboratively; demonstrated ability to deal with sensitive and/or stressful situations in a professional and confidential manner; working knowledge of Maxient and/or case management data systems; Student Conduct hearing officer experience. |

Posting Summary | The Classroom Assistant will support the classrooms serving children from ages 0-3 years and creating and maintaining a safe and stimulating environment for young children. Valid First Aid/CPR card, food handler’s card, negative TB test, and clear criminal background check required. |

Skills:
- Strong computer programming skills with particular emphasis on Python and PostgreSQL
- Strong familiarity with the UNIX/Linux operating environment and web services such as Nginx, Django and RESTful web applications

- Experience debugging and/or trouble shooting software and hardware issues
