The University has 3 campuses located at St. Lucia, Gatton and Herston. The University also operates medical and dental schools in Brisbane and a number of research stations and farms throughout Queensland.
The Property & Facilities Division (P&F) is responsible for delivering comprehensive facilities management that support the University’s teaching and research goals and its strategic objectives of Learning, Discovery and Engagement.
To achieve this, and to further improve the environment in which members of the University community study, work and live, P&F provide a range of services. These include: Infrastructure & Sustainability (ie energy management, sustainability office, engineering services), Project Delivery (ie new buildings, refurbishments, feasibilities), Planning & Property (ie. master planning, leasing, space management), Campus Operations (i.e. building maintenance, grounds and playing field maintenance, fire safety, security and parking, transport, cleaning, furniture, logistics, UQ fleet, mail dispatch).
UQ’s environmental and sustainability initiatives have gained significant recognition. P&F manages the University’s Environmental Management System, provides advice, and promotes best sustainability practices at UQ. The Sustainability website (www.uq.edu.au/sustainability ) provides a single point for the University to communicate its initiatives and successes in embedding sustainability throughout its operations, learning, discovery and engagement. The role
The Planner is responsible for the scheduling of all preventative and corrective maintenance requests to Campus Operations staff from University clients. The position will maintain strong client relationships with faculty/institutes clients across the University for the delivery of all maintenance requests. The position will be required to provide regular feedback to clients on work allocations and completion times.
The person
The successful applicant will possess the required qualifications and relevant experience. You will have excellent time management skills with the ability to handle high volumes of requests whilst maintaining exceptional customer service. You will have demonstrated knowledge of maintenance processes and systems relevant to buildings and building services. You will have the ability to work and be part of a team environment, whilst also being a motivated self-starter and with a will to learn and develop new skills.

Remuneration
This is a full-time, continuing appointment at HEW Level 6. The remuneration package will be in the range $74,207 – $79,964 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $81,256 – $93,557 p.a.).

ANU Master of Philosophy Scholarship »
Overview
ANU Master of Philosophy Scholarships are funded by individual academic Colleges. It is expected that recipients will study on a full-time basis. However, in accordance with strict criteria, the scholarship can be awarded for part-time study. International scholars must undertake study on a full-time basis.
Eligibility
The scholarships are available to potential and current students who:
- are domestic or international students; and
- have applied for admission to a Master of Philosophy Research program at the ANU; and
- have a Bachelor degree with first-class Honours (some Colleges may consider applicants with upper second-class Honours), or a Master degree with a research component from a recognised University.
Benefits
- Travel & removal allowance for students relocating to Canberra to commence their Master of Philosophy program;
- Dependant Child Allowance (International students only)
- Thesis Allowance

In order to be considered for this scholarship in the main round of scholarship offers International students are required to apply for admission by 31 August. Domestic students are required to apply for admission by 31 October. Colleges may consider offering these scholarships at any time of the year..

A number of ANU Tuition Scholarships are funded and awarded by individual Colleges and determined as part of the application process. This scholarship covers international student tuition fees.
Eligibility
Bachelor degree with first-class or upper second class honours, or a research Master degree from a recognised university; International students.

Further information
It is expected that the scholarship normally will be taken up by 31 March in the year for which it is awarded, although, subject to the approval of the prospective supervisor, Head of Department and Dean/Director, a later start date may be possible. The date by which a scholarship must be taken up in a particular instance will be made clear in the formal letter of offer for the scholarship.
