Job Summary | The Veterinary Science Department has student positions available at OLRC (Woodford) in Versailles. This farm houses our special needs geriatric and metabolic horses. The successful applicant will be working with these horses, feeding, providing support for veterinary care and research projects, i.e., handle animals and administer medications. This will provide an eye-opening experience to not only managing a farm with horses by working alongside of our farm manager and staff but also to the research process by working with our graduate students. Types of research we conduct at this farm includes nutritional studies, vaccination studies, metabolic studies, transportation studies, and a few others. 15-20 hrs/week. |

The Stardust Center for Affordable Homes and the Family is offering a limited number of scholarships to support Master of Sustainability Solutions (MSUS) students who have proposed culminating experience projects designed to address and advance the need for affordable housing, recognizing that healthy sustainable communities provide a means for families to obtain, remain in and manage their homes.
