Virginia Water Environment Association is pleased to announce its annual scholarship program named as “The VWEA Undergraduate Scholarship”. Students must be enrolled in a civil or environmental engineering or physical/environmental science undergraduate program to be considered eligible. The objectives of the scholarship are to support our local universities and colleges and to promote student participation in VWEA. The candidate who will win the scholarship will get one-time award up to $2500.
Founded in 1947, the Virginia Water Environment Association is a non-profit, technical and educational organization focused on producing quality programs for continuing education and training for our members, the technical community, and the general public. The Virginia Water Environment Association will preserve and enhance Virginia’s water environment, now and for future generations.
All Scholarship applicants must be:
- Students must be enrolled in a civil or environmental engineering or physical/environmental science undergraduate program at a Virginia college, community college, or university, full-time, attending in the spring and fall 2017 semesters.
- Eligible students must have a 2.75 or greater grade point average.

- Unofficial or official up-to-date transcript or official semester schedule of college currently attending (GPA above 2.75)

Financial Aid and Award Money:
The successful applicant will receive the one-time award $2,500.
