This post offers an opportunity to join a committed team at this exciting stage in the expansion of a new medical school.
Following our recent successful appointment of a Graduate Fellowship in Anatomy we are excited to announce a second position, to help develop anatomy teaching, whilst studying part time for a PhD. We are seeking to appoint a Graduate Fellowship in Anatomy to join a team of highly dedicated, experienced and enthusiastic colleagues. Working closely with the Director of the Clinical Anatomy Learning Centre, you will contribute to the development, delivery and organisation of aspects of Lancaster Medical School’s Anatomy curriculum. This will include contribution to lectures, practical teaching, special study modules, workshops, forums, lecturing, assessment and admissions activities.
You will also contribute more broadly to our innovative and recently updated undergraduate medical degree, alongside other elements of learning and teaching, and engagement with all aspects of summative and formative assessment.
The post comes with PhD funding to allow you to undertake a PhD project that is aligned to the teaching and/or research themes of the Department.

Minimum Education and Experience |
AA degree, preferably in the field of Early Childhood Education of Child Development from an accredited public or private institution of higher education. Child Development Associate (CDA) credential for Preschool Caregivers required or an equivalent credential that addresses comparable competencies; or must obtain the credential within one year of employment as a Classroom Assistant II. |

Must have (or be willing to obtain) training and experience necessary to develop consistent, stable, and supportive relationships with very young children. Ability to work as part of a multi-program/disciplinary team in providing a variety of services to children and families. Experience working with children from low income families. Valid First Aid/CPR card, food handler’s card, negative TB test, and clear criminal background check required. |
