MSc Integrated Petroleum Geosciences Scholarships
Summary
The MSc Integrated Petroleum Geosciences programme is supported by a number of corporate partners who provide a limited number of scholarships. Support from corporate partners can extend to include mentoring and provision of an industry-based project. Equinor will provide one scholarship providing funding for fees and a generous stipend. A Masters project will be provided at the discretion of the company. Support from Shell, Apache and ConocoPhillips to be confirmed in due course.
Description
Each scholarship will provide financial support to meet full or partial costs of programme fees and/or living expenses as outlined above.
Eligibility
All UK and EU applicants who hold an offer of admission or who qualify for a conditional or unconditional offer of admission to the MSc in Integrated Petroleum Geosciences commencing in September 2019 and who have submitted an application for admission to that programme by 4th January 2019 are eligible to apply for the scholarships. Candidates who have not submitted an application for admission to the MSc programme and who have not submitted a scholarship application by the deadline or those who do not qualify as Home/EU or RUK for tuition fee purposes will not be considered.
Criteria
The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and a passion for your chosen subject of study.

- Your reasons for applying for the corporate scholarships
- Why you have chosen your particular programme of study
- Any other information you feel would be supportive of your application
Candidates will be shortlisted and considered by a review panel which will include corporate partners. Further shortlisting will identify candidates to be invited for interview in January 2019. Please note that documents submitted in support of your application for admission to the MSc programme as well as documents submitted in support of your application for the scholarship will be reviewed by University staff and may be reviewed by corporate partners during the scholarship selection process.
*The Supporting Statement is required in addition to the Personal Statement used in support of your application for admission. Please upload the Supporting Statement to the ‘Transcript’ section of the Document Manager and the CV to the ‘CV’ section.

Minimum Education and Experience |

Child Development Associate (CDA) credential for Preschool Caregivers required or an equivalent credential that addresses comparable competencies; or must obtain the credential within one year of employment as a Classroom Assistant II. |

Must have (or be willing to obtain) training and experience necessary to develop consistent, stable, and supportive relationships with very young children. Valid First Aid/CPR card, food handler’s card, negative TB test, and clear criminal background check required. |

Skills:
- Strong computer programming skills with particular emphasis on Python and PostgreSQL
