Minority Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

Teachers College, Columbia University is offering Minority Postdoctoral Fellowship Program. Citizen or permanent resident of the United States are eligible to apply. The Fellowship Program seeks to promote the recruitment and retention of a diverse faculty at Teachers College. The fellowship includes a $35,000 research stipend, $3,300 for teaching a course, research support of $5,000, free campus housing in a studio apartment (if desired)

The AWG Minority Scholarship new program encourages young minority women to pursue an education and later a career in the geosciences. Applicants must be women of African-American, Hispanic or Native American descent who are pursuing a degree in one of the geosciences. One or more awards totaling $6,000 will be given each summer for use during the next academic year

The Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Saint Louis University seeks MS and PhD candidates for graduate studies in Geoscience with a concentration in Geophysics. Geophysics faculty are interested in applying the tools of seismology to study deep earthquakes, regional tectonics, and earthquake hazards. Prospective students should have a strong quantitative background in geophysics, mathematics, physics, and programming.
