Position Description:
The University of Chicago’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Biological Sciences Division is searching for a faculty member at any rank, and invites applications. As a full-time faculty member, the successful applicant will contribute to patient care, medical education, and scholarship, and join a vibrant, diverse, and distinguished community of faculty colleagues and learners in UChicago Medicine, the Biological Sciences Division, the Pritzker School of Medicine, and the University of Chicago and its affiliates.
Clinical responsibilities will include providing comprehensive care for patients with gynecologic cancers including outpatient assessment, inpatient care and major operative procedures. This will include offsite locations. Other duties will include the training and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows. We especially welcome applicants with an interest in the development of clinical trials and related research.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctoral degree or equivalent; 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Illinois; 3) have completed a certified fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology; and 4) be board certified or eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
