Applications are invited for the newly created post of Reward and Benefits Adviser. The post holder will provide an effective advice and administrative support service for the College’s reward and benefits processes including academic promotion, professorial banding, job evaluation, academic probation, performance awards and a range of benefits. Working closely with the Deputy Head of HR Operations and a wide range of stakeholders the successful candidate will provide a professional and responsive service taking the day to day lead on a range of reward and benefits roles. The post holder will be a member of the HR Operations team and will be expected to work with colleagues to ensure provision of a high level HR transactional service.
The successful post holder will need to demonstrate significant experience of successfully working in a full HR function.Experience of proactively designing and writing HR policies and processes, producing reports, successful change management and building strong working relationships are essential for this role together with experience of successfully working with a range of management information. Applicants will also need to demonstrate strong time management and communication skills, possess the ability to work well under pressure and have strong IT skills.Experience of working with Resourcelink HR and Payroll System and Stonefish on-line recruitment system is desirable.

This is a fixed term post to cover a period of maternity leave for 12 months. This appointment could end earlier than expected should the substantive post-holder return to work early.

Valid First Aid/CPR card, food handler’s card, negative TB test, and clear criminal background check required. |

Skills:
- Strong computer programming skills with particular emphasis on Python and PostgreSQL
- Strong familiarity with the UNIX/Linux operating environment and web services such as Nginx, Django and RESTful web applications
