The AWG Minority Scholarship

The AWG Foundation is now offering its AWG Minority scholarship to encourage young minority women to pursue an education and later a career in the geosciences.  The program is available to a full-time student who is pursuing an undergraduate degree in the geosciences at an accredited college or university.The AWG Foundation funded a $6,000 scholarship with generous support from ExxonMobil and individual donors.

The Hispanic Women’s League(HWL) Scholarship

The mission of the Hispanic Women’s League is to improve the quality of life, assist in the personal and professional development, and advocate for the concerns of the Hispanic woman.  Hence they are offering the HWL scholarship. To eligible, the applicant must be a female of Hispanic origin ( a direct descendant of Hispanic heritage from at least the grandparents), have at least 24-degree credits. Previous Hispanic Women’s League Scholarship Award recipients are not eligible. There will be six $1,000 HWL Scholarships.

The AICPA Fellowship

The American Institute of CPA (AICPA) Fellowship for Minority Doctoral Students ensures that CPAs of diverse backgrounds are visible in college and university classrooms. The Women Color Scholars Program

The Women of Color Scholars program provides scholarship funds to selected women of color who are Ph.D. or Th.D. students. Any United Methodist woman having at least one parent of African, Hispanic, Native American, Asian, or Pacific Island backgrounds, who has earned a master of divinity degree and is pursuing a doctorate for a career in theological education and religious studies, is eligible to apply. The Wisconsin Scholarship
